As is usually the case when analyzing an event of this nature, there are at least a couple of eclipses that had been stimulated at the time of the event(s). The bombings in Sri Lanka took place at about three different locations, however the bombing in Colombo is the most important since it is the capital of the country. The event(s) occurred on April 21 at 8:45 AM local time. The event chart is below.
Transiting Neptune is stimulating two solar eclipses - the solar eclipse on March 8 2016 at 19 Pisces and the solar eclipse on September 12, 2015 at 20 Virgo - by square aspect. Transiting Mars (in the first house) is in a square aspect to Neptune, but it is not close enough to either of those two eclipse points. Transiting Mars is actually very close to a square aspect to the midpoints of the previously mentioned eclipses and two other eclipses - a solar eclipse on September 1, 2016 at 9 Virgo and a solar eclipse on February 26, 2017 at 8 Pisces. Transiting Jupiter (which rules organized religion) squares Neptune. Jupiter is stimulating the lunar eclipse of September 16, 2016 at 24 Pisces.
The outer planetary conjunction of Saturn And Pluto - the point of discussion for many Astrologers at this time - shows up in the eighth house of death in the event(s) chart. Saturn and Pluto are both close to an opposition to the eclipse point of the solar eclipse of July 12, 2018 at 21 Cancer. The lunar nodes are also at 21 Cancer and Capricorn. And, they are in square aspect to the Sun and Uranus. The Sun/Uranus conjunction certainly fits the description of the event(s) in terms of being sudden and unexpected.
Sri Lanka’s current constitution was enacted on September 7, 1978. In that event chart, the Sun is at 14 Virgo, which is in square aspect to Mars in the bombing event chart. And, Neptune is at 15 Sagittarius in this constitution enactment chart, which is in opposition to Mars in the bombing event chart. Also in the constitution enactment event chart, we see that Mars is at 21 Libra, which is in square aspect to Saturn/Pluto in the bombing event chart.
