Wildfires continue to rage on just west of Redding, California (also known as the Carr Fire) the afternoon of July 27, 2018. Actually, a number homes have been burned and two people have been killed (as of now). We tend to have these wildfires in California during heat waves like we’re having at this time, but they are becoming more numerous and bigger and more dangerous (to populated areas like Redding).
Redding was incorporated on October 4, 1887. That puts natal Saturn at 5 Leo - which is opposite the total lunar eclipse in Aquarius today. Mercury and Jupiter are in square aspect to Saturn in this event chart. Transiting Mars is opposite Saturn in this chart, and transiting Uranus is in square aspect. The Moon (the people) in the incorporation chart is located in Taurus and is probably in square aspect to this point - since I don’t have an exact time of incorporation, I can’t be completely sure. Transiting Mercury stationed retrograde conjunct Mars in this event chart - typical of such fiery events. Transiting Mercury has been stimulating the lunar eclipse of February 10, 2017 (by conjunction) and the solar eclipse of February 15, 2018 (by opposition).
